As he slowly turned the key in the lock, Jason knew that there was no way he was going to get away with it. He was late again, and his wife was waiting on the other side of that door for more than 5 minutes. In Jason's household that was a punishable offense.
He was right. Jennifer was standing in the middle of the room, looking directly at him, with ice cold look in her eyes.
As Jason, closed the door behind him, and took off his jacket, Jennifer did not move a muscle.
Jason, took one last pleading look at his beautiful wife, and step forward. There was nothing he could do now. He was late. The future was inevitable.
They were married for three years now, but to Jason it seemed that it was much longer. He did not even remember his life before Jennifer. He met her while still in college. Quite and shy and not particularly athletic 5'-3" Jason, who was at the time a junior hardly seem to be a good match for senior Jennifer - a 5'10" athletic beauty, but they hit it off at some party and next thing Jason knew - the most stunning girl on campus was in his bed. He was the envy of every guy.
Jason has not had many relationships before, and since Jennifer seem to know exactly what she wanted he let her call the shots in just about everything. They were married that summer in a private ceremony on the happiest day of Jason's life. As it turned out his last happy day.
Now, just three years later, he was standing before Jennifer a completely different man. Pleading to be forgiven for his tardiness. Pleading with no success.
"Please, Jen", said he, "the traffic was insane. There was a three car accident right in front of me. I just could not move. I am so sorry for being late, I know you made plans with our your friends, but it is only five minutes, perhaps we can still make it."
Instead of an answer, Jennifer slowly pointed toward the small bedroom.
She did not need to say anything else, her looks said it all. Jason turned and slowly walked to where she was pointing.
He knew that any further argument would be completely pointless. His gorgeously wife had completely assumed all control of his life. Both physically and mentally she was far superior to him and has proven it from the first day they were married.
He walked into a small bedroom, that looked more lila a large closed. From the corner of the room he picked up a box filled with clothing and walked back to the living room. His wife was standing in the same spot, as if she was frozen.
Jason knew the routine. He put the box down at her feet, and started taking his clothes off.
